Specifications

  • Lined trailers and FRP trailers for sulfuric acid
  • Pneumatic trailers with air-to-air cooler systems for products with a low melt point
  • 2,300 cubic foot pneumatic trailers for light weight, recycled plastic product
  • MC-331 trailers for anhydrous ammonia
  • 10,000 gallon DOT 406 trailers for methanol and glycols
  • A stainless steel, food grade certified conveyor to transload salt from railcars to pneumatic trailers

Requirements

Required:

  • Must be at least 23 years old
  • Possess Only One CDL, Issued in the State of Residence
  • One Year Over The Road Experience Under a DOT Certified Carrier
  • Possess a Tanker Endorsement

Preferred:

  • One year of over the road experience with a DOT certified carrier
  • Possess a Hazmat Endorsement

Other Qualifications:

  • Ability to Obtain Additional Necessary Endorsements to Perform the Duties
  • Must Supply a 10-Year Work History
  • Able to Verify the Past Three Years of Employment
  • Pass a DOT Physical & Drug Screen
  • Be Eligible for a Transportation Worker’s Identification Card (TWIC) or Passport
  • Possess a DOT Medical Certification With No Waivers
  • Ability to Read, Write, and Speak the English Language (Required)
  • No More Than One Moving Violation in the Past 3 Years (CMV)
  • No More Than One Preventable Accident in the Past 3 Years 
  • No Alcohol or Drug-Related Convictions in the Last 7 Years 
  • No Alcohol or Drug-Related Convictions or Violations While Operating a Commercial Motor Vehicle
  • No Violent Felony Convictions
  • Must Be Able to Pass a Respirator or Pulmonary Function Test, If Necessary
