Tidewater Transit is a family-owned company that was founded in 1949 by C. Felix Harvey and Mr. Charles Smith. Their lean operation and family-focused culture delivered cargo such as gasoline, anhydrous ammonia, and petroleum.
We’ve kept that lean and family-focused operation. However, Tidewater has evolved to become an industry leader in chemical, dry bulk, and multimodal service transportation. We’re ready to solve quick problems for you tomorrow or partner with you for a long term project.
